DANIEL R. ALVES,
of Hackensack, died on Sunday October 25, 2009 at
the age of 76 years. Before retiring in 1998 he worked as a Grounds
Keeper for St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Hackensack. He was also a
parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Hackensack. Beloved
husband of Luisa M. (nee Miranda). Devoted son of the late Antone
and Maria Alves. Loving father of Anthony Daniel Alves and his wife
Michelle of Paramus. Cherished grandfather of Tyler, Joey and Gianna.
Dearest brother of Hilda Coderre, Lucy Silva and the late Tony,
Arthur, Manny, Jim, Alfred, Joe and Jordan Alves, Mary Silva and
Aldina Leueque. Daniel is also survived by several nieces and
nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on
Wednesday, October 28th, at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple
Avenue, Hackensack, at 10:00 AM. Cremation will be private. Visiting
will be on Tuesday evening from 6 – 9 PM.
