MARIA BELLIZZI, (nee Tamburi) of Hackensack, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at the age of 72. Maria was a very devoted member of the St. Padre Pio Society and a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church in Hackensack. Beloved wife of Angelo Bellizzi for 56 years. Loving mother of Luigino Bellizzi of Italy. Loving grandmother of Liliana Bellizzi.  Dearest sister of Anna Prinzo and her husband Peter, Angela Tamburi and Antonio Tamburi. Maria is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The Funeral on Monday August 15, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 – 7:00 PM.
