Emil Canestrino Jr., of Hackensack. died on Sunday, August 6, 2006, at the age of 48 years. He was a veteran of the Navy and was a parishioner of St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Hackensack. He is survived by his parents Emil and Kathleen Canestrino of Hackensack and Diane and Doug Laird of Florida, four sisters, Lillian and Keith Agnelly of Louisiana, Diane Canestrino of Hackensack, Amy and Joseph Caramagna of Maywood and Tracy Antalek, and a brother Sean Laird, his grandfather Dan Ruess, three nieces, Tara Bass, Alexis Agnelly and Julia Caramagna and a nephew, David Bass, his uncle, Lewis and Jean Canestrino of South Carolina, two aunts, June Cary of Hamburg, NJ and Arlene and Allen House of Washington, and several cousins. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 9th, at 2:30 PM, Reverend Piotr Pilch, officiating. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 1 - 3 and 5 - 7 PM.
