Antonina
Candela Caruso,
of Hackensack, died on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at the age of 86
years. Prior to retiring, she worked in the laundry department at
Hackensack University Medical Center. She was a parishioner of St.
Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack. Predeceased by her husband Natale
Caruso who died in 1993, she is survived by five sons, Giuseppe Caruso
and his wife Giovanna of Little Ferry, Nicola Caruso and his
wife Rose of Hackensack, Charles Caruso of Hackensack, Steve Caruso
and his wife Salvatrice of Hackensack, and Frank Caruso and his wife
Maria of Elmwood Park, three daughters Angela De Cerase and her
husband Gaetano of Hackensack, Anna Carolla and her husband Frank of
Hackensack. and Laura Caruso of Totowa, two brothers, Gaetano Candela
and his wife Tina of Palermo, Italy, and Giuseppe Candela and his wife
Vincenza of Hackensack and 19 Grandchildren. The Mass of Christian
Burial will be offered at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street,
Hackensack on Saturday at 9:00 AM with entombment following at Garden
of Memories in Washington Township. Visiting will be on Friday from 2
- 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Memorial donations to ALS Association Greater NY
