Carmen "Sonny" Corrado, of Little Egg Harbor, formerly of Hackensack, died on Monday, November 14, 2005. He was a loving, caring and devoted family man who will be missed greatly. Before he retired in 1976, he owned Sonny's Luncheonette of Hackensack for twenty years.  An Army veteran of World War II, he was the recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post #10181 of Hackensack and a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church of Hackensack. He is survived by his wife Jean Tuccillo Corrado, two daughters, Jeanne Grigis and her husband Peter of Little Egg Harbor and Noreen Ahern and her husband James of Edgewater, two granddaughters Melissa Vedder and her husband Brian of Pennsylvania and Courtney Ahern of Edgewater, a brother Ralph Corrado and his wife Bonnie of Brick and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be on Friday, November 18th, at 8:45 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, at 10:00 AM. Entombment will be held at Garden of Memories in Washington Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Heart Association, 2550 US Highway # 1, North Brunswick, New Jersey 08902 would be appreciated. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
