Chester
Curley, a
lifelong resident of Hackensack, died on Tuesday at the age of 90 years.
Prior to retiring, he was a gold plater for All Purpose Roll Leaf
Corporation of Paramus, where he worked for more than 25 years. He was
an Army Air Force Veteran of World War II , a parishioner of St. Francis
R. C. Church of Hackensack, a graduate of Hackensack High School, and
was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth
"Betty" Ferrarini Curley, two sons, Brian Curley and his wife
Edith of New Milford, and Kevin Curley and his wife Sharon of Clifton,
two daughter, Diane Curley Howe of Franklin and Carol Curley Andrade of
Rockaway, nine grandchildren, Erin Curley Stuetz, Megan Curley,
Patrick Curley, Jesse Prelich, Jason Howe, Aisling Howe, Trevor Howe,
Anthony Andrade and Samantha Andrade and two sisters, Wilhelmina Bove of
Arizona and Lillian Opidi of Massachusetts. He was predeceased by a
sister Stella Breitweiser and two brothers, Albert Curley and John
Curley. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, January
5th at 9:30 AM at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack
with burial following at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saddle Brook. Visiting
hours will be on Thursday from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 PM.
