Josephine D'Ambrosio, (nee Mania), of South Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at the age of 88. Born in Hackensack she also resided in Saddle Brook, prior to retiring in 1989 she worked as a chef in the Cafeteria at Hackensack High School. She was a member of the South Hackensack Seniors Club. Josephine was an avid bingo player, she also loved playing cards and Atlantic City. Beloved wife of 67 years to Anthony “Tony Joe” D’Ambrosio. Loving mother of Anthony Joseph D’Ambrosio of Greenbrae, CA. and Lori D’Ambrosio-Scudillo and her husband Michael of Clifton. Cherished grandmother of Shiloh, Doug and Dustin and great grandmother of Dante, Jaden and Logan. Dearest sister of Tessie Rinaldi of Little Ferry and the late Francis Iozzia, Jenny Occhipinti, Mille Tuve and Sam Mania. Josephine is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday April 20, 2011 at Church of St. Anne, 15-05 St. Anne Street, Fairlawn. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Washington Twp. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM.
