D’AMORE JESSE V. Sr. of Marshall Creek, PA, formally of North Bergen, NJ entered into eternal rest on Monday April 28, 2008 at the age of 83. After retiring in 1983 at the age of 66 he relocated to Marshall Creek, PA to become part of a research and development team for the former company Instrument Specialists. He was a Naval Veteran of World War II, serving as a Machinist Mate First Class in the Pacific Theatre of war where he was awarded numerous medals and citations including the Bronze Star. Beloved husband of Gloria (nee Scalzo) of 59 years. Devoted father of Diane D’Amore of Clifton, NJ, Jesse D’Amore of Clifton, NJ and Sandra (nee D’Amore) Urato and her husband Angelo of Wood-Ridge, NJ. Loving Grandfather of Amanda and Jesse D’Amore and DianaMarie and Gabriella Urato. Dearest brother of Anthony, Albert, Anna, Angelina and Lucy. Jesse is also survived by many nieces, nephews and his dear friend and personal physician Doctor Manmohan Patel. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 2, at 10:00 AM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
