JOHN
H. DE PUYT JR. , of
Oradell. died on Monday August 4, 2008 at the age of 77 years. He
was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was also a systems
analyst for ITT Data Services of Paramus and Revlon of Edison.
He excelled at sports, including baseball, softball, tennis and
bowling. His love of learning gave him great prowess at
crossword puzzles. Beloved husband of the late Susanne W. (nee
Wynkoop). Loving father of Bruce R. De Puyt of Washington, D.C.,
Bruce's partner Russell R. Cross of Washington, and Jeff M. De Puyt
and his wife Sue Kauffman DePuyt of Lower Gwynedd, PA. Cherished
grandfather of Alexis and Marisa. A memorial service will be held on
Saturday, August 9, at the funeral
between the houirs of 2:00 and 4:00 PM. Memorial donations in
Hobie’s memory to The Hackensack University Medical Center, 360
Essex Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601 would be appreciated. .
