GEORGE DE STEFANO,
of
Brooksville, FL, formerly of South Hackensack, died on Monday,
January 25, 2001, at the age of 86 years. Prior to retiring, he was
a construction worker for Heavy Highway Laborer Local # 472 of
Newark.He was a veteran of the U S Navy. Beloved husband of the late
Antoinette Marinello De Stefano and the late Harriet De Stefano.
Special father to Lora Scheeler and her husband William of South
Hackensack and the late Sunday Stankowitz and her husband Michael of
Westwood. Special grandfather of William and Louise, Kim and Sean,
and Michael Jr. Loving great grandfather to Alexandra, Matthew,
Bryan, Jessica and Jaclyn. Dearest uncle of Jo Ann Barrett and
Joseph R. Gallitano.The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
on Saturday, January 30th,at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi
Street, Hackensack at 9:30 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North
Arlington. Visiting will be on Friday from 6 - 9 PM.
