Peter J. Donohue, of Garfield, formerly of the Bronx, New York, died on Friday, December 9, 2005, at Hackensack University Medical Center at the age of 76 years. Born in  New York, Mr. Donohue lived in the Bronx before coming  to Garfield in 1991. Prior to retiring nine years ago, he was a freight calculator for O. C. C. L. Container Company of New York where he worked for 45 years. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Predeceased by his wife Mary C. Donohue,  a son Stephen P. Donohue, a brother Joseph Donohue and a sister, Rosemary Caputo, he is survived by his son, Kevin Donohue and his wife Angela of Farmingdale, New York, his grandchildren, Shannon, Ryan, Winnie, Emily and Abigail, and two  brothers,  Thomas Donohue of Whiteville, North Carolina and Owen Donohue of Edison. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, December 13th, 10:00 AM, at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, Visiting will be on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
