John E. Engel
of River
Edge, formerly of Hackensack, died on Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at his
home, at the age of 69 years. He was born in Teaneck and owned John E.
Engel Insurance Agency of Hackensack for 30 years, retiring 4 years
ago. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Hackensack-Lodi. He
is survived by his loving companion, Jami Toolen of River Edge, his devoted
children, John E. Engel Jr. and his wife Kim of Manahawkin, and Sherri
Pietrzak and her husband Joseph of Wanaque, his cherished
grandchildren, John, James, Joseph and Ashley, his sister
Valerie LaRocco and her husband Richard of Hamilton Township, and his
brother, H. Jeff Engel and his wife Stephanie of Clermont, Florida.
The funeral service will be on Friday, May 25th, at the funeral home
at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Park Cemetery.
Visiting will be on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
