RUTH M. O'BRIEN FERRARA, of River Edge, died on Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Hackensack Hospice, at the age of 85 years. Born in Bergenfield, she was formerly of Teaneck and has lived in River Edge for 34 years. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church of Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Ferrara. Devoted mother of Marie S. Kaplow of Westwood, Joe Ferrara of Fairborn, Ohio and the late Nancy Myers. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Jeff, Julie and Jeffrey. Adored great grandmother of three great grandchildren. Dearest sister of the late Augusta Tyson and Dorothy Petersen. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 5th, at Holy Trinity R. C. Chuch, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visiting will be on Monday evening from 6 - 9 PM.
