SAVERIO FERRARA, of Hackensack, died on Saturday, January 15, 2011, at the age of 93 years. Born in Sicily, Italy, he came to this country in 1950 and settled in Hackensack.

Prior to retiring, he worked for more than thirty years for Laborer's International Union of North America Local 592 of Hackensack. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. The  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 20th, at 11:00 AM at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack with burial following at Maple Grove Park Cemetery in Hackensack. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 2-4  & 7 - 9 PM. Memorial donations to St. Francis R. C.
