VIOLA M. MELCHIORRE FORSSBERG,
of Hackensack,
died on
Thursday, January 7, 2010, at the age of 101 years. Born in
Berwyn, Pennsylvania, she lived in Hackensack for more than 75
years. Prior to retiring, she worked as a switchboard operator
for New Jersey Bell Telephone of Hackensack. She was a
parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church of Hackensack and was a
member of the Rosary Society. She also volunteered for many
years at the St. Therese Carmelite Chapel at the Bergen Mall in
Paramus. Beloved wife of the late Henrik Forssberg. Devoted
mother of Henry J. Forssberg and the late Viola Forssberg.
Loving grandmother of Brita Joyce and Erika Forssberg. Cherished
great grandmother of Stephen, Madeline, and Boden. Dearest
sister of Elaine Meyer, Gloria Logan, and Ronald Melchiorre..
The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, January 9th,
at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, at
11:00 AM. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. on Saturday, January
9th,Visiting will be on Friday from
2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM
at the
funeral home.
