MARIA
A. PICIALLO GAMBUTI, of
Hackensack, died on Friday, January 30, 2009, at Hackensack
University Medical Center at the age of 94 years. Born in New York
City, she lived in Hackensack for many years. Prior to retiring she
worked at Anna's Bakery of Maywood, Foschini Bakery of Hackensack,
and the County of Bergen. She was a member of the V. F. W. Ladies Auxiliary
of Ridgefield Park and a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church of
Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late Albert J. Gambuti. Devoted
mother of Albert Gambuti and his wife Patricia of Hackensack, and
Marianne S. Tedesco and her husband Peter of Maywood. Loving
grandmother of Al, Christopher, Tina and Robin. Cherished great
grandmother of Joslyn, Kevin, Jennifer, Nicholas, Eric, Haleigh,
Madison, and Cortneigh. Dearest sister of Grace Holowinski of
Maywood, Lucia Conti of Hackensack, Michael Piciallo of Toms River
and the late Carmela Brereton, Antoinette Condello, Benjamin
Piciallo, Nicholas Piciallo, Frank Piciallo and Joseph Piciallo. The
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 2nd
at 1:00 PM with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park
in Paramus. Visiting will be on Monday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM/
