PETER A. GAROFALO  of New Milford , NJ died on Tuesday August 28, 2007, at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, at the age of 91 years. Peter was a Floor Mechanic for Modern Floors for 35 Years retiring in 1981. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a member and Past Union Delegate of the NJ Carpenters Union Local # 2212 of Union , NJ . He was a Member and Past President of the Bergen County Bowling Association for 60 Years and a member of the Bergen County Bowling Association Hall of Fame. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church , Hackensack . Predeceased by his wife, the late Ida (nee) Aiellos, he is the devoted father of Richard P. Garofalo and his fiancé King H. Carlino, loving grandfather of Beth and Brandon.,devoted brother of Anthony Garofalo of River Edge and Robert Garofalo of So. Hackensack and is also survived by five sister-laws, two brother In-laws and many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, September 1, 2007, at Holy Trinity R.C. Church ,34 Maple Avenue,  Hackensack , at 10:00 AM with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. Visiting will be on Friday from  2 – 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
