ROCCO
P. GARZO, of
Hackensack, died on Sunday, January 20, 2008, at the Inpatient
Hospice Unit of Hackensack University Medical Center, at the age of
92 years. Born in Palisades Park, he lived in Hackensack for 65
years Prior to retiring, he worked for Alcoa Aluminum Company of
Edgewater for 40 years. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua
Episcopal Church of Hackensack. Beloved husband of the late Angelina
(nee Auletta). Devoted father of the late Ann Marie Giordano. Loving
grandfather of David Giordano and his wife Amelia, Susan Giordano,
and Maria Giordano. Cherished grandfather of Anthony, Amanda,
Joseph, Christopher and Ann Marie. Dearest brother of Angie Durkee
and seven brothers and sisters who predeceased him. The Mass
of Requiem will be offered on Thursday, January 24th, at St. Anthony
of Padua Episcopal Church, 72 Lodi Street, Hackensack, at 10:00 AM.
with burial following at Hackensack Cemetery. Visiting will be
on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
