SALVATORE GENTILE,
on Monday,
July 20, 2009, at the age of 89 years. Born in Fort Lee, he lived in
Fairview for 49 years. Prior to retiring in 1984, he was a pipe
fitter for Movie Lab Inc. of New York and previously worked at
Consolidated Film Industries in Fort Lee. He was an Army Veteran of
World War II and was a member of Local # 702 of New York. Beloved
husband for 65 years of Katharine (nee Morello). Devoted father of
Louis Gentile of Park Ridge, Rosemary Gentile of Fairview and Bruce
Gentile of Astoria, NY. Loving grandfather of Ramon Jr. and John.
Cherished great grandfather of Nicole, John Jr., Gabrielle,
Christopher, Zachary, and Xavier. Dearest brother of ten brothers
and sisters who predeceased him. The Mass of Christian Burial will
be celebrated Friday, July 24th, at St. Francis R. C. Church,
50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, at 11:00 AM, Iwith burial following at
St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visiting will be held on Thursday from 2 - 4
and 7 - 9 PM.
