WARREN F. GRASSO,
of Eatontown,
formerly of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 16,
2011 at the age of 76. He was a veteran of the United States Army
and a graduate of Seton Hall University in 1960. Prior to retiring
in 1990 he was a Guidance Counselor at Hackensack High School from
1967-1990 he also taught History at Wallington High School from
1960-1967. He was a member of the Bergen County School Counselors
Association, the New Jersey Education Association, the Hackensack
Education Association, the Bergen County Education Association and
the National Education Association. Warren was also a big fan of
Broadway Plays and he especially enjoyed listening to the music of
Mr. Frank Sinatra. Devoted son of the late Fred and Evelyn Grasso.
Warren also leaves behind many close friends from the Hackensack
Public School System. The Funeral on Wednesday, April 20, at 8:15 AM
from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street,
Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity R.C.
Church, 34 Maple Ave. Hackensack, at 9:30 AM. Interment Hillside
Cemetery. Visiting will be held on Tuesday from 3 – 5 & 7 - 9 PM.
