Curtis U. Hopson, of Englewood, died on Thursday, July 13, 2006, at Hackensack University Medical Center at the age of 56 years. He was born in Freeman, Virginia in November 1949 to the late Nellie Irene Ward and Willie B. Hopson Sr.  He  graduated from James Solomon Russell High School in Lawrenceville, Virginia. He was a driver for United Auto Parts in Teaneck. Between 1970-1973, he entered the United States Army and served his country in the Viet Nam  War, obtaining an Honorable Discharge. He is survived by four brothers, Willie B. Hopson Jr., Samuel C. Hopson, Reginald L. Hopson and William D. Hopson, a sister Constance L. Hopson Hunt, three aunts, two uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Memorial services in his honor will take place on Saturday from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM with cremation being private.
