Marie H. Weigel Koestler, of Hackensack, died on Friday, July 20, 2007, at the age of 87 years at Prospect Heights Care Center in Hackensack. . She was born in Brooklyn, NY and prior to retiring she was a secretary at Hackensack University Medical Center in the social services department where she worked for more than 20 years. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church where she was a member of the choir. Beloved wife for 57 years of Martin V. Koestler. Devoted mother of Donna Kaiser and her husband Robert of New Port Richey, Florida, and Patricia Schuck and her husband Peter of Fair Lawn. Loving grandmother of Tyler, Kali, and Justin. Predeceased by four sisters, Helen Weigel, Margaret Denbraber, Ann Neder, and Stephanie St. George,  and three brothers, George Weigel, Bernard Weigel and Frank Weigel, The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, July 24th,  at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, at 10:00 AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park. Visiting will be  on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Memorial donations to Hackensack University Medical Center Inpatient Hospice, at Prospect Heights Care Center, 336 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack, NJ  07601 would be appreciated.
