JOSEPH LASCALA, of Hackensack, died on Thursday, June 24, 2010, at the age of 86 years. Prior to retiring, he was the co-owner of St. George Florist of Clifton. Previously, he owned Tri L. Wire Company of Lodi. An Army veteran of World War II, he was past president and member of the V.F.W. of Hackensack, a member of the D.A.V. # 15 of Hasbrouck Heights, a member of the American Legion of Hackensack, a volunteer at the Veterans office in Hackensack, past president and member of the Lions Club of Lodi, and a member of the Lodi Moose Club. He also was a member of the Third Reformed Church of Hackensack. Beloved husband for 63 years of Helen (nee Lamberti) Lascala.   Devoted father of Michael Lascala of Ft. Laudedale, FL, and Diane Lascala Cimiluca of Hackensack. Dear brother of Rose Corio of California,Andrew Lascala of Elmwood Park. and four sisters and a brother who predeceased him. The funeral service on Monday,June 28th, at the funeral home at 11:00 AM, Rev. Leonard Masquelier, officiating with burial following at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visiting will be on Sunday evening from 6 - 9 PM.
