Walter Lichner, of Emerson, formerly of Hackensack, died on Sunday, October 8, 2006, at the Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Home of Emerson, at the age of 82 years. He was born in West Hoboken and lived in Hackensack prior to moving to Emerson a year ago. He retired as a mechanic of dry cleaning machines for Samuel Braun Company of Jersey City. Predeceased by his wife Joan Landolfi Lichner who died in 2004, and his sister Josephine Hamilton, he is survived by his sister in law. Ann Gheno of Hackensack, and three nephews, Bruce Hamilton of Florida, Ronald Hamilton of Saratoga, Springs, NY and Robert Hamilton of Vestal, NY. Prayers will be said in the funeral home on Wednesday at 12:00 Noon with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon.
