Julia G. Rongo Lioy, a lifelong resident of Hackensack, died on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, at Hackensack University Medical Center at the age of 88 Years. Julia was an avid bingo and card player and enjoyed spending hours playing with her family and friends. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church of Hackensack. Predeceased by her husband Samuel P. Lioy who died in 1991, four sisters, Ann Dente, Rose Korineck, Josephine Iorio, Lena Costa, and a  brother, Thomas Rongo, she is survived by her children, Adrienne Lioy, Rosemary and Russell Deihl, and James and Jackie Lioy, her grandchildren, William Paladino III, Thomas Paladino, Jamie Paladino, Daniel Paladino, Joseph Samuel Lioy and Jamie Lynn Lioy and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, August 12th, at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Hackensack. Visiting will be on Friday from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM and 7 - 9 PM.
