LUCINDO ANTHONY "TONY" LO PICCOLO,
of South Hackensack, died on Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Bertfish
Medical Center in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, at the age of 78 years.
Born in Palermo, Italy, he came to this country in 1952, settling in
Hackensack and has lived in South Hackensack for 32 years. Prior to
retiring, he was a mason for 40 years and was co-owner with his
brother Victor of V and L Lo Piccolo Builders of Hackensack. Tony
enjoyed spending time in Florida with his wife, and the summers in
Brick where he loved
crabbing and being surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband
for 53 years of Rosa (nee Marrella), Devoted father of Vincent Lo
Piccolo and his wife Linda of South Hackensack, Joseph Lo Piccolo
and his wife Lorie of Wyckoff, Lucindo A. Lo Piccolo Jr. and his
wife Patty of South Hackensack, and Dominic Lo Piccolo and his wife
Dina of Colts Neck. Cherished grandfather of Vincent, Michael,
Joseph, Kristina, Lucindo, Jason, Dominic, and Ryan. Dearest brother
of Philip Lo Piccolo of Manahawkin, Maria Marrella and her husband
Angelo of South Hackensack, Anna Pipito and her husband Pietro of
South Hackensack, and the late Vincent Lo Piccolo and Victor
Lo Piccolo. He is also survived by
many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 14th, at 10:30 AM, at
the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue,
Hackensack with entombment following at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting will be on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Memorial
donations to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000,
Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142 would be appreciated.
