THOMAS P. LOUGHLIN, of Hackensack, died on
Monday, May 11, 2009, at the Hackensack Hospital Hospice, at the age
of 91 years. Prior to retiring in 1983, he was a maintenance worker
at Johnson Free Public Library in Hackensack. An Army Veteran of
World War II and a recipient of the Purple Heart, he was a member of
the American Legion Post # 142 of Maywood, the Disabled American
Veterans and the V. F. W. of Hackensack. He was a parishioner of
Holy Trinity R. C. Church of Hackensack and a
member of the Knights of Columbus Trinity Council # 747 of
Hackensack. Beloved husband of the late Emily (nee Budarf). Devoted
father of Thomas Loughlin and his wife Noreen of Maywood, Michael
Loughlin of Hackensack, Patricia Frank and her husband John of
Stockholm, Joan Osley and her husband Carl of Wood Ridge and Meg
Loughlin of Hackensack. Loving grandfather of David, Cortney,
Lauren, Elizabeth, Christopher and the late Jennifer. Cherished
great grandfather of Emerson Thomas. The Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 14th, at Holy Trinity R.
C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack at 11:00 AM with burial
following at t George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
Visiting will be on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
