DOMINICK LOVERCHIO, of Cary, North Carolina formerly of Dumont, NJ, died on Thursday, April 15, 2010, at the age of 88 years. Prior to retiring, he owned and operated Loverchio Brothers Construction Company with his brothers in Dumont. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and a volunteer Firefighter for the Dumont Fire Department Hose company #1. He was a parishioner of Saint Mary’s R. C. Church, Dumont. Beloved Husband of Zola “Dotti” (nee Powell) for 64 years. Loving father of Joseph Loverchio of Dumont and Kathy Wentzler and her husband the late Edward of Cary, NC. Devoted grandfather of Eddie Wentzler of Carry, NC. Dearest brother of Connie Terando of AZ, Laura Dugas of Stony Point. NY, Carl Loverchio and his wife Marianne of Cresskill, James Loverchio and his wife Sylvia of TN, Tony Loverchio and his wife Lois of Florida and the late Rocco Loverchio. Loving uncle of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Prayer service by Reverend Brian Tomlinson will be held on Wednesday April 21st,at 10:30 AM at the funeral home with entombment  following at Garden of Memories Mausoleum in Washington Township. Visiting will be on Tuesday evening from 5:00 – 9:00 PM.
