CARMELA MALATINO, (nee Michelini). of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 1, 2011, at the age of 81. She was a former member of Hackensack Women’s Club and a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late Gaetano Malatino (1982). Loving mother of Helena Williams and her husband Richard of PA, Janine Karoly and her husband Michael of Tinton Falls, NJ, Guy Malatino and his wife Suzanne of Ramsey, NJ and Christine Trezza and her husband Anthony of Wyckoff, NJ. Cherished grandmother of thirteen grandchildren and great grandmother of five. Dearest sister of Carmelo Michelini and his wife Judy, Virginia Michelini, Alexander Michelini and his wife Janet, Angelina Scribano and her husband Phil, Pasquale Michelini and his wife Mary, Nina Paleologos and her husband Nick and Jean Doyle and her husband Bernie. Carmela is also survived by three In-laws, Frank Malatino and his wife Connie, Lucille Bora and her husband Norman, Judith Malatino and many loving nieces and nephews. The Funeral on Thursday May 5, at 10:15 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Ave. Hackensack, at 11:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM.
