BLANCA R. MARQUEZ, of Hawthorne, passed away of Thursday, November 10, 2011, at the Atrium of Wayne, at the age of 68 years. Born in San Salvador, El Salvador, she came to this country in 1963 settling in the Bronx. She lived in Clifton and  for the past five years in Hawthorne. She worked as a secretary for Passaic County Community College in Paterson where she was also a student. Previously, she owned Diane's Bridal and Party Supply of Paterson and Clifton. She was a member of the  Hawthorne Gospel Church. Predeceased by her husband Joaquim, she is the loving mother of Allan Marquez and his wife Sharon of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Dyan Nava and her husband Carlos of Ontario, California, and Edgard Marquez and his fiancée Olga of Lyndhurst. Cherished grandmother of Charles, Cari, Amy and Julia and great grandmother of Gracie. Dearest sister of Tita Carlson of Willingboro, Ruth Fiallos of Leonia, and Edith Latchman of the Bronx. Adored aunt of many loving nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Monday morning at 11:30 AM, Reverend Howard Van Dyke Jr., officiating, with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visiting will be on Sunday evening from 7 - 9 PM.
