GIUSEPPE V. MARTINO, of South Hackensack died on Saturday April 17, 2010 at the age of 81. He was born in Alia, Sicily and came to the United States in 1963. Joe was loved by many friends and family. He will be greatly missed, especially for his sense of humor, smile, and his family values. He always put family and friends first. Prior to retiring in 1989, he was a Mason for various labor unions throughout New Jersey. A member of the I.A.F.F., He was a member of the Fratelli D’Italia and the Maria SS. Delle Grazie, both of Hackensack. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church in Hackensack. Beloved husband of Francesca (nee Ricotta). Loving father of Serena Martino of South Hackensack and Maria Gaglioti and her husband Paul of Warren, NJ. Cherished grandfather of Paul and Joseph Gaglioti. Dearest brother of Rosa Amico and her husband Vincent of Hackensack, Domenica Drago and her husband Joseph of Livingston, NJ. And the late Giovanni Martino and his wife Angela of Hackensack. Brother In-Law of Salvatore and Carmela Ricotta of Maywood. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 21st, at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street. Hackensack, at 9:45 AM with entombment  following at Fairview Mausoleum Fairview.
