CATHERINE
ROBERTS MAURIELLO, of
Hackensack
,
passed away on Sunday April 19, 2009 at Hackensack Hospital
Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of
the late Frank and Amanda Roberts, formerly of Little Ferry. "Kay"
or "Nook", as she was commonly known, was a wonderful
Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother and will be treasured
forever in our hearts. She was an active member of the
First Congregational Church of Hackensack where she
enjoyed singing in the choir and volunteering her time making crafts
for children in need. Catherine loved her family and looked forward to the
large family reunion each year "Honoring Mom and Pop
Roberts". Catherine will be reunited with her beloved
husband, the late Joseph "Dick" Mauriello (1981),
sisters Amanda, Lillian,
Florence
and brothers Harry, William, Thomas, Frank, Martin and Robert
Roberts. She is survived by her sons Barry and his wife Donna
(Scanlon) and Richard and his wife Betina (Lopez), her sister
Marjorie and her husband Michael Podmayersky, sister-in-law Cor Cantalmo,
brother-in-law William Mauriello and his wife Louis,
sister-in-law Joan Roberts and many loving nieces and nephews. She
was the adored and treasured grandmother of Kristen, and her husband
Don, Katrina ("Doll"), Lauren
("Sweetie"), Daniel, Jake and Ian Mauriello,
Great-Grandmother of Tyler, Trevor and Jack. Visiting
willbe on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. The Funeral
Service will be held Wednesday at 10:00AM followed
by burial at
