MARIE J. MANDARA MECCIA, of Saddle River, died on Thursday, May 13, 2010, at the age of 78 years. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack. Marie loved gardening. An avid Yankees fan, she greatly enjoyed watching her grandchildren playing sports. She lived for her family. Beloved wife for 56 years of Allen Meccia. Devoted mother of Jean Meccia of Saddle River, Allen J. Meccia and his wife Helen of River Edge, Susanne Meccia of Saddle River and the late Diane Meccia. Cherished grandmother of Katie, A. J., Nicholas and Emily. Dearest sister of Frances Bourgeois of South Hackensack, Sarah Daurio of South Hackensack, and the late Josephine Foose and Jean Cenicola. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 17th, at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visiting will be on Saturday from 7 - 9 PM and Sunday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
