ARTHUR MEYER, of Paramus, died on Thursday, January 13, 2011, at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood,  at the age of 83 years. Born in North Bergen, he lived in Paramus for 45 years. Prior to retiring, he worked for the State of New Jersey in the Department of Labor in building management in various offices throughout the state. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. Beloved husband for 57 years of Lucille (nee De Carolis). Devoted father of Gail Buckalew and her fiance  Robert Colon of Elmwood Park. Cherished grandfather of Bobby and Lauren Buckalew both of Elmwood Park. Dearest brother of the late Charles Meyer and his wife Winifred of Township of Washington. Loving brother in law of Dolores Verost of Bergenfield, Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  The funeral service at the funeal home on Monday, January 17th, at 10:00 AM, Rev, Brian H. Laffler officiating with entombment following at Gardens of Memories in Washington Township. Visiting will be on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
