Ann Abate Morello, of Teaneck, New
Jersey died on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at Holy Name Hospital in
Teaneck at the age of 85. She was born in New York City. During the
1950's, she was a soloist singer performing at the Copacabana in
New York City and other venues in the Catskills, New York. She was
a member of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artist Union
of New York and New Jersey. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's R. C.
Church of Bogota. Predeceased by her husband Charles A. Morello and
three brothers and two sisters, she is survived by six sons, Anthony
Morello and his wife Mildred, Charles Morello and his wife Patricia,
Joseph Morello and his wife Carmela, Stephen Morello, John Morello and
his wife Sandi, and James Morello, two daughters, Stephanie McKenna and
her husband John, and Nina Morello, fourteen grandchildren, Donna,
Mark, Meagan, Matthew, Michael, Mark, Vincent, Christine, Deborah,
Christopher, Tiffany, Joseph and Anna and eleven great grandchildren, a
nephew, Anthony Messina of Florida and several other nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be on Wednesday, November 16th, at 8:15 AM
followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's R. C. Church,
corner of Palisade Avenue and East Fort Lee Road, Bogota at 9:30 AM.
Burial will be at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. In lieu of
flowers, memorial donations to the American Kidney Foundation,
6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852 would be
appreciated. Visiting will be on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
