Rafael Mundo,of Hackensack, died on Sunday, March 5, 2006, at Hackensack University Medical Center at the age of 86 years. He was born in Puerto Rico. Prior to retiring, he worked for the United States Postal Service at South Hackensack as an electronic technician for 34 years. An Army veteran of World  War II, he served his country from 1940 - 1948 as a heavy machine gunner obtaining the rank of corporal. He was the recipient of various medals of commendation. He was a member of the postal workers union. Visiting will be on Friday morning from 9:45 AM - 11:45 AM with religious services and burial following at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Arnytown.
