JAMES A. MUSTO,
of Hackensack, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at
his home, at the age of 86 years. Born in Pittston, PA, he lived in
Brooklyn and has lived in Hackensack for 50 years. Prior to retiring
he was a Computer Analyst for People's Trust Company of Hackensack.
He served his country during World War II in the United States Army
and participated in battles in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes,
Rhineland and Central Europe. He was the recipient of the EAME
Theater Ribbon with five
gold stars and the Bronze Star
Medal and was honorably discharged in 1945. He was a parishioner of
the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Hackensack and was a past
Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Don Bosco Council of
Brooklyn, New York. Beloved husband for 67 years of Frances M.
(nee Donofrio). Devoted father of James D. Musto of Rochelle Park
and the late Robert Musto. Loving grandfather of Christopher Musto
and his wife Maria of Lyndhurst. Cherished great grandfather of
Nicholas and Alyssa. Dearest brother of Ann Musto and Dolores Saint
Louis both of Maspeth, NY, Robert Musto of Staten Island and the
late Josephine Mary, Minnie, Charles, Sam and Anthony. The funeral
on Friday, September 16th at 9:00 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile
Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland
Avenue, Hackensack at 10:00 AM. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. The
family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 - 4 and
7 - 9 PM. Memorial donations to
