Rose T. Piccolo Padovano
died on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at the age of 91. Born in
Brooklyn, New York, Mrs. Padovano lived in Hackensack for 60 years
prior to moving to Westwood nine years ago. She was a parishioner of
St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack. Predeceased by her husband
the late Anthony J. Padovano who died in 1984, and three brothers
Matthew, Anthony and Stephen Piccolo, she is survived by her son
Ralph Padovano and his wife Lona of Rochelle Park and six daughters,
Cecilia Napolitano and her husband Louis of Franklin Lakes, Toni
Longobardo of Apex, NC, Rosemary Brill and her husband Peter of
Westwood, Celeste Leone and her husband Bernie of Wyckoff, Caroline
Melcon and her husband Charles of Montvale and Christine Tranchida
and her husband Richard of San Francisco, CA., a sister Caroline
Francica of Maywood, 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 12,
2005, at 10:00 AM, at St. Francis R. C. Church, Hackensack. Burial
will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack. Visiting will be
on Monday evening from 7 - 9 PM and Tuesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
Memorial donations to St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street,
Hackensack 07601, would be appreciated.
