Herbert D. Pedersen, of Teaneck, died on Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at Wellington Hall Care Center in Hackensack, at the age of 93 years. Born in Hoboken, he lived in Bergenfield prior to coming to Teaneck  45 years ago. He retired in 1976 as a supervisor for First National Stores of Kearny where he worked for 40 years. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Catherine M. O'Keefe Pedersen, his son Daniel Pedersen of Mission Viejo, California, his daughter Monica Bostler and her husband James of Ridgewood, his grandchildren, Caitlin and Daniel and a brother Warren Pedersen of Haworth. The United States Army Honor Guard will present the American flag to the family on Saturday at 12:00 Noon. Visiting will be on Friday from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 PM.
