LAWRENCE PEDONE, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 27, 2011, at the age of 80 years. Born in Hackensack, where he lived most of his life, he lived in Toms River for four years and then Highlands Ranch, Colorado for three years. Larry was a Hackensack businessmen for many years. He was a member of the Hackensack Troast Club and also won the diamond glove championship at age 16. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Rose (nee Steele). Devoted father of Patricia Devine and her husband Daniel, Vincenzo Pedone, and Barbara-Anne Flanagan and her husband John. Cherised grandfather of Vincenzo, Serafina, Kaitlin, Christina, Jason, Jeff, Scott, and Michael. Adoring great grandfather of Samantha and Jillian. The funeral on Saturday, December 3rd, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, with burial following at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Hackensack.
