JOHN F. PICARELLI, of Saddle Brook, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at the age of 92 years. Born in New York, he lived in Saddle Brook for 53 years. Prior to retiring fifteen years ago. he was a supervisor for Michael C. Fina and Company of New York. He served his country in the United States Army and was the recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was a parishioner of St. Philip the Aposttle R. C. Church of Saddle Brook. Beloved husband for 65 years of Marie A. (nee Praino). Devoted father of Ed Picarelli and his wife Ginger of Alexandria, Virginia, Jean Picarelli of Saddle Brook and Joseph Picarelli and his wife Catherine of Paramus. Loving grandfather of John Joseph Picarelli. John is predeceased by two sisters and two brothers. He also leaves behind many other loving relatives, especially his "In-Laws", and close friends. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 16th, at St. Philip the Apostle R. C. Church, 488 Saddle River Road, Saddle Brook at 9:30 AM, with entombment following at Garden of Memories in Washington Township. Visiting will be on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
