JOHN D. PISILLO III,
a lifelong resident of North Bergen, passed away peacefully at home
on Monday, February 1, 2010, at the young age of 60 years. He was
generous and giving, reliable and countable. No matter what the
situation, he would be there. He enjoyed photography, listening to
music, playing the guitar and harmonica, traveling to visit friends
and family, and a loyal fan of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead.
He was a survivor of Woodstock 1969. He was a friend of many and
loved by all. Comical in his ways, he had a way to make light of any
situation. He was a driver for Rose Limousine Company of West New
York. He was a member of the Padre Pio Society of New York. Beloved
son of the late John and Lucille Maio Pisillo. Dearest brother of
Marie DePierro and her husband Al of Hackensack. Loving uncle of
Christina Bauer and her husband Raymond of Hackensack, and Al
DePierro Jr. of Hackensack. Cherished great uncle of Arianna Bauer.
He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and loyal
friends. Visiting will be on Thursday from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM with
the Mass of Christian Burial following at Holy Trinity R. C. Church,
34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, at 1:00 PM.
