, died on Thursday March 26, 2009, at his home, at the age of 84
years. Born in
Pellegrino

Italy
, he came to this country in 1966. Prior to retiring in 1990, he
worked for The International Labors Union Local #34 in
Hackensack
for over 25 years. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church
in
Hackensack
. Beloved husband for over 60 years to Domenica (nee Gramuglia).
Loving father of Francesco Antonio Pitasi of
Hackensack
and Catherine Oliveri and her husband Frank of Hackensack. Cherished
grandfather of Carmelo, Paul and Concetta and great grandfather of
Gabriella and Cristina. Dearest brother of Vincenzo Pitasi and his
wife Rosina of Italy, Giovanna Careri of Little Ferry, Rosa Romeo
and her husband Vincenzo of Italy and the late Carmelo and Dominic
Pitasi. Paolo is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March
31st, at Saint Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street,
Hackensack
, at 10:00 AM with entombment following at
Hackensack
Cemetery
,
Hackensack
. Visiting will be on Monday from 2 – 4 & 7 - 9 PM.
