JOSEPH P. PIZZA of Hackensack died on Saturday October 13, 2007, at the age of 90 years. Before retiring in 1983 he was an Assistant Director for the Hackensack Housing Authority for 25 years and a Captain of the Hackensack Housing Authority Police Department for 15 years. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church , Hackensack . and a member of the Trinity Leisure Club. Beloved Husband of the late Florence M. Iurato Pizza.  Devoted father of Joseph M. Pizza of Hackensack , Frank M. Pizza of Ringwood , NJ , John C. Pizza of Campbell Hall , NY and Rosalie M. Souza of Ringwood , NJ . Cherished Grandfather of Joseph, Jeffrey, Frankie, John, Jake, Austin , Colin, Ariela and Daniel and Great Grandfather of Vanessa. Dearest brother of Anna Toriello and the late Dominick Rodano, Mary Kapulka and Annette Blauvelt. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday  at Holy Trinity R.C. Church , Hackensack , at 10:00 AM with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery , Hackensack . Visiting will be  on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
