George Pjeternikaj, of Hackensack, died on Monday, November 6, 2006, at his home, at the age of 49 years. He was born in Capri, Italy. He was a self employed painter. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church of Hackensack and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Trinity Council # 747 Squires of Hackensack. He is survived by his parents Ded and Drane Pjeternikaj of Hackensack, two brothers John Pjeternikaj and his wife Dila of Saddle River and Nik Pjeternikaj of Hackensack, and his two nephews, Mark and John Pjeternikaj. He was predeceased by another nephew, Michael Pjeternikaj who died earlier this year. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, November 9th, at 10:00 AM, at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, New York. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 3 - 9 PM.
