Alfred Puntasecca,
of Paramus, died on Monday, February 5, 2007 at the New Jersey
Veterans Home in Paramus, at the age of 73 years. Prior to retiring,
he was a security officer for the Ramada Inn of Paramus. He was an
Army Veteran of the Korean War and a recipient of two Bronze Stars,
the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and the
National Defense Service Medal. He is survived by his wife of 53
years, Marge DeVaux Puntasecca, his daughter Linda Grinthal of
Lafayette, New Jersey, his son James A. Puntasecca of Hackensack, and
three grandchildren, Michael, Johnny and Danny. He was a member of the
Korean War Veterans Museum of Tuscarora, Indiana. There will be a
memorial service on Monday evening at 8:00 PM, Reverend Steven
McClelland officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 PM.
