MICHAEL
RECZKOWSKI, "The Cookie Man," of Rochelle Park
formerly of
Hackensack
, died on Tuesday March 3, 2009 at the age of 55 years. He worked as
a Baker at the Hackensack Pastry Shop for over 43 years, where he
was known as “Mike the Baker”.
Michael had a green thumb. He loved gardening and especially
loved growing flowers and giving them away to brighten someone’s
day. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church in
Hackensack
. Loving father of Michael Reczkowski of
Hackensack
and Jason Reczkowski of
Goshen
,
NY
. Dearest brother of James Reczkowski of Rochelle Park, Rita
O’Neil and her husband Michael of Glen Rock, Jeffrey Reczkowski
and his wife Regina of Rochelle Park and the late Frank Reczkowski
(1992). Michael is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 7th,
at St. Francis R.C. Church,
