Janet
E. Tiedemann-Ross, of Hackensack, formerly of Bergenfield,
died on Saturday, April 22, 2006, at her residence, at the age of 54
years. She was an office manager for the Be Protected Alarm Company of
Hackensack. Previously she worked for Stern's Department Store in
internal communications for 34 years. She was a graduated from William
Paterson College. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church,
Hackensack and currently served as President of the Veteran's of Foreign
War Auxiliary of Bergenfield. She also was a charter member of the
National World War II Memorial in Washington, D. C. Predeceased by her
parents, the late Frederick E. and Margaret E. Frodsham Tiedemann, she
is survived by her sister, Barbara A. Tiedemann-Boucher and her husband
James of Bristol, Connecticut, her nieces, Melissa Allegrini and her
husband Michael, and Sara Pritchard and her companion Matthew Burnell,
and Pamela Czplicki and her husband Andrew, her nephews, Thomas Boucher
and his wife Diana and Benjamin Boucher and his friend Pauline, her
great nieces Courtney, her great nephews, Anthony and Evan, her aunt,
Mary Lou Zahlmann , her uncle, Hank Taber and many cousins and close
friends. Prayers will be on Friday, April 28, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the
funeral home, with burial following at St. Joseph's Cemetery in
Hackensack. Visiting will be on Thursday evening from 6 - 9 PM. Memorial
donations to the World War II Memorial Fund, PO Box 305, Calverton, NY,
11933 would be appreciated.
