Jose
I. Rubio,
of Bogota, died on Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at Holy Name
Hospital in Teaneck at the age of 68 years. He was born in Guatamala.
He worked for 16 years for the Bergenfield Board of Education in the
maintenance of buildings and grounds. He was a parishioner of St.
Joseph's R. C. Church of Bogota. He is survived by his wife Clara
Melgar Rubio, two sons, Luis Antonio Rubio and his wife Virginia of
Guatamala and William Rubio of Bogota, two grandchildren, Luis and
Alejandra, one sister, Ingrid Pontaza, and seven brothers, Milton
Rubio, Eric Rubio, Alan Rubio, Omar Rubio, Irving Rubio, Jose Rubio
and Rolando Rubio. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on
Monday, February 26, 2007 at 10:00 AM with burial following at
Fairview Cemetery. Visiting will be on Sunday evening from 7 - 9 PM.
