in Cherry Hill, at the age of 87. Before retiring she was an
elementary school teacher at
Fairmount
School
in
Hackensack
. Beloved wife of A. James Scherrer for 11 years and the late
Russell G. Rice Sr. for 56 years. Devoted mother of Russell G. Rice
Jr. and his wife Donna of PA, Carol Anne Cinque and her husband
Robert of WA, James D. Rice of TX, Charles I. Rice and his wife
Marcie of CA, Robert C. Rice and his wife Lori of Rochelle Park, NJ.
step-mother of Corrie
Galvin of FL, Gail Arnold and her husband Jim of OH, Lynn Jones and
her husband Lee of Fl, Jamie Scherrer and his wife Amy of Riverton,
NJ and Chris Scherrer and her husband Bill O’Byrne of Cinnaminson,
NJ. Cherished Grandmother of Russell III, Sarah, Laura, Beth, Ryan,
Katherine, Michael, Mark and Carly. Great Grandmother of Olivia,
Ella, Summer, Allyson, Ty, Alexander, Emma and Steven. Dearest
sister of Catherine Bartels of Oradell and The late Joan Pelligrini.
Cherished aunt of several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service
will be held on Saturday April 19, 2008 at 11:30 AM at the funeral
home with entombment following at Garden of Memories Cemetery,
Washington Township Visiting will be on Saturday Morning from 10:00
– 11:30 AM. Memorial donations to the Fairmount School
